No call yet! Bummer. We took our papers to the stake president on June 29th. We thought the papers would be on their way to Salt Lake that week. On July 9th, we got a call from someone in the stake who said my medical papers weren't complete. So, Truman picked them up that day and the next day we dropped them off at the Dr.'s office on our way out of town to attend a family reunion. We picked them back up again on the following Monday, returned them to the stake, and now we have begun the waiting process all over. Cross your fingers and toes that we don't get a call from the mission committee saying they next something else. We'll announce our call on this blog when the time comes.

We have been watching your blog for your mission call. We are serving in the Baton Rouge Louisiana Mission (New Orleans). We sent our papers in last June and didn't get our call until August. (Something about the Missionary Department and vacations.) Needless to say, we had three weeks to prepare for a 23 month mission. We are praying for you and hope you get the West Indies. Check out our blog at elderandsisterlake.blogspot.com.

Hi Carolann and Truman! This is Saundra (Stirling) Harris. Donna shared your blog with us. This is great! It's so nice to share this with our boys,, three of them ages 15, 13, and 11. Donna is accompanist for a community choir in Lehi that I have been asked to direct and we are having a great time working together. My mother passed away three years ago, about the time we moved here to Alpine UT. We have previously lived in Dallas area and California San Francisco Bay area. Dad is visiting for the boys birthday's, and doing fine.....recovering from shoulder replacement. My brother Ross's oldest son Brandon (the first grandson of my parents) just received his mission call to Indiana, Indianapolis! Here we go.....there are 12 more grandboys....24 grandchildren total, well keep healthy and we'll check in once in a while. By the way, I teach school here in Alpine, I think we have some Mundy kids........?? Best wishes, Mark and Saundra, Hayden Tyler and Ethan
